Malorie Blackman OBE, Children’s Laureate 2013-15 and the author of more than seventy children’s books. She is the cultural icon of the Noughts & Crosses series which was adapted for BBC One in 2020. Fans of 500 Words, know her as a judge of the competition alongside Chris Evans and HRH The Duchess of Cornwall. She's passionate about sharing her love of stories and getting more children to explore their imagination.
